THE HUMBLE ABODE
Two and a half hours flight and 17 hours waiting time (in the airport), what would you feel about that? Pretty tiring wasn't it? Yes it was very tiring, but how could I possibly complain about it when my excitement was overflowing. After all it was my first ever international flight. We've waited for this trip not just days nor weeks but months and finally it's happening. We couldn't wait till our feet hit the grounds of Bali, Indonesia.
Fetched from the airport and traveled 45 minutes until we reached the humble abode of Silvie in Sanur. Silvie is a very nice and accommodating host. Arriving in Silvie's house with a very warm welcome vanished all our tiredness. We are so happy that we have finally arrived and we have the rest of the week to enjoy our stay.

Seeing these gorgeous rooms made us realize that we had a very tiring day. Who could resist that tempting big beds? For a person as tired as we are, I bet none. I didn't waste any second there, I threw my luggage in the corner and get ready for bed because I know that tomorrow will be another long day. Bali awaits!

The Pool
For a tropical place like Bali, having a pool is a perfect choice. We are so lucky that Silvie's house got one.
We can take a dip anytime we want. It doesn't matter if it's 12 o'clock in the afternoon or 12 o'clock in the midnight.

Genuine Balinese style and decoration, unique, quite, and relaxing, that's what this house could offer. In Silvie's house we have the luxury to do what we want to do; cook (but we never cooked really because we found our favorite restaurant in Sanur beach just 5 minutes away from the house), sleep, listen to music, swim in the pool or just sit in her sofa and read books. Indeed it feels like home.

The sweet cute cats of Sylvie accompanied us while Sylvie visited her jungle house in Bali for 3 days. They are so playful and nice. Whenever we arrived from a long day in the beach they always wants to play.
This humble abode in Bali, decorated with authentic Balinese style, surrounded by plants and beautiful flowers has served us well during our stay. The memories that we had will be forever in our hearts. And if ever we will be given a chance to go back again and find a place to stay our choice would be the same. Thanks to Sylvie for her wonderful home.
If you are planning to go to Bali and would love to stay in Sylvie's home you can contact her and book her villa at www.airbnb.com!
